Calling Creatives to the City Central

Recently, we’ve collaborated with Big Massive, who are doing some dope stuff in the city, to host  Downtown Sundown Rooftop. This is a vibrant space where attendants lounge on a rooftop while being entertained by the city’s talented vibe curators and artists. We’d also invited bubbling local home brewed-craft beer brand ’51 Superior Cider’ to tantalize taste buds with their trendy beverage,  while renowned mobile bartenders, The Mixologists conjured up cocktails that helped awaken all senses.

This was the second installment of the rooftop session that not only impressed many but begged the
question: ‘Why in the CBD?’
Lesley Jennings, founder of #GigCultureSA was recently asked this question during a radio interview with Ace Moloi on KovsieFM’s #TheInnerView where she elaborated the importance of making the culture; arts and eventing scene accessible to all in the city. The CBD is the heart of the city and it only makes sense that everything should inherently gravitate towards it.

This collaboration and innovation is not only cool but has brought light to some upcoming visual artists who exhibited and sold art pieces at Big Massive’s ‘One Day Worth Millions’ art exhibition and market in June.
You can find Big Massive at 80 Oliver Tambo Road, Bloemfontein. Follow us and them for all the latest happenings in the CBD.

You don’t want to miss it!

  • If you would have asked me at the beginning of 2019 where the dopest hangout would be, I wouldn’t have guessed it. This event is something special.

P.s: well-written article, the description took the words out of my mind?

  • This is amazing. #GigCulture and Big Massive along with their partners for this venture have have themselves a part from the rest. It was an amazing experience. The environment and company of people attending is amazing.
